Yes, after all this time of people asking,
So! The Oxygen Catastrophe: Poems 1999-2006 is go! 40 pages, perfect bound (which is a fancy way of saying "standard paperback binding"), 5.83" x 8.26", 60# paper, etc. As with the prints, it's pay-what-you-can to help me finally jump the barrier to a medical transition, but it'd be nice if you didn't pay less than $10 (which might be at-cost once you factor in shipping, especially for people outside the US).
[Edit 3/18 - The first printing's sold out, but there's another on its way! The second printing will start going out within the next week!]
[Edit 3/25 - the second printing's in and shipping now! Yay!]
Sink Or Swim
Sometimes she gets lost
amid the jagged stars of light
that circle above her head
underwater.
Her mother swears
she’ll drown someday
her pale, swollen flesh
washing up to terrify some swimmer
long after the search has been called off
and everyone has forgotten her
but secretly
she hopes she’ll just grow gills
and make her home like a hermit crab
in something else’s intricate spiral
a house she can wear like jewelry
to hide the hideous, squirming thing
that lives inside.
